Ghana's Inflation Dropping To 26.4% Demonstrates Our Economy's Recovery- Kennedy Osei Nyarko

Kennedy Osei Nyarko, Member of Parliament for Akim Swedru in the Eastern Region, has expressed hope for Ghana's economy to improve.

Kennedy Osei Nyarko promised the people that his administration is working hard to get the economy back on track.

He emphasized the need of faith and togetherness because he believes that under his leadership, Ghana's fortunes would improve.

His most recent remarks concern Ghana's inflation rate, which has dropped from 40.1% in August to 26.4% in November 2023.

"In November 2023, inflation falls to 26.4%." We shall gradually recover economically together. "Our lives and standard of living will undoubtedly improve in the near future," Kennedy Osei Nyarko stated on his official Facebook page.

He recognized the economic challenges that the country was experiencing, particularly in light of the COVID-19 epidemic.

He cited the advantages of these steps as strong growth, lower inflation, improved fiscal and external balances, and a stable currency rate.

According to the Consumer Price Index (CPI) numbers for the year ending Thursday, December 14th, non-food inflation was 21.7 percent and food inflation was 32.2 percent.

The government statistician, Professor Samuel Kobina Annim, emphasized the figures, stating that Greater Accra had the lowest inflation rate at 19.8% and the Western region had the highest at 39.8%.
