Final Proof: Exuberant celebration with the release of the most recent information on Afua Asantewaa's official Guinness World Record sing-a-thon

After several days of emotional performances and beautiful music, the last recording of Afua Asantewaa Aduonum's incredible sing-a-thon effort has been turned in for evaluation.

In an interview with Graphic Online, Afua Asantewaa, the Ghanaian woman who tried to break the Guinness World Record for the longest sing-a-thon, disclosed that she has submitted the last piece of proof for evaluation and confirmation.

She said that the proof was sent in on Saturday, January 6, 2024, and that she expected a positive answer in the next several days.

Recall that Afua began her musical adventure on Sunday, December 24, 2023, captivating Ghanaians and showcasing her singing abilities in a marathon of soulful performances.

Mrs. Asantewaa Aduonum surpassed Indian Sunil Waghmare's 2012 record of 105 hours by singing for 126 hours and 52 minutes.

Although she had originally said that the endeavour would need 117 hours of work, the exercise continued until the wee hours of the sixth day, at which point she decided to call it quits.
