Sally Mann, a controversial radio/TV pundit, is taught by Gospel artist Selassie Brown in a priesthood and prophets dispute that nearly turns into an argument on live television.
On Saturday night, the event occurred on Adom TV's ShowTym with Andy Dosty.
The discussion centred on Evangelist Diana Asamoah's recent remark that Cecilia Marfo's church had fallen because it was not from God.
Sally Mann, renowned for her unorthodox and outspoken views, used the occasion to sort of agree with Evangelist Diana Asamoah, who claims the priesthood has finished and that John the Baptist was the final prophet. Cecilia Marfo's church, according to her, has fallen because it was not from God, and she is not shocked.
"I put it to anyone who calls himself or herself a pastor that if they read their bibles, they will know that priesthood has ended," she stated. Priesthood terminated the minute Christ said it was done on the cross. Consider the book of Hebrews. That will assist you in broadening your horizons and coming to comprehend a variety of topics. You will even realise that Christians should not pay tithes. All of this is in the past. Now, only Christ can offer us eternal life. So, if Cicilia Marfo's church fell, I think it was not caused by God. And if it's not from God, Andy, it's not from God.It will crumble. I'm not shocked, and I won't be surprised if additional churches fail."
Sally Mann used Luke 16:16 to back up her point on the broadcast.
However, gospel artist Selassie Brown, who was a confident and respectful guest on the show, knocked down Sally's beliefs, saying that the priesthood and prophets still exist.
"I believe we all have faith," she remarked, "but I beg to differ." The priesthood is still active. And it's not going to stop. According to the Bible, God will purify his spirit on people in the final days, and some will become prophets, teachers, evangelists, and so on. So God is still bringing up survivors. Even God reminded Elijah at one time that there are still those he has kept who have not tainted their hands. So the priesthood will not be abolished. on the globe. However, we all have our own beliefs, therefore I will not reject anything Sally says. However, I believe that God is still raising individuals to lead us.
The event has caused controversy among some social media users who have seen the footage. Some have even stated that Sally was confident in her ignorance and needed appropriate knowledge of what she learns from the Bible.
Selassie Brown is a gospel pastor whose recently released song "Miracle Working God" is performing extremely well on both conventional media and streaming platforms.
