Sad News: A man is released from prison only to discover that his wife is seriously pregnant with another man.

The euphoria of walking to freedom after completing a prison sentence rapidly changed to sadness for a 49-year-old man from Southern Zambia's Kalomo District, who went home to find his wife significantly pregnant for another man.

While Njamba Musokotwane was sweating as a convict to cultivate government land and plant state cabbages, a free man on the outside was viciously plowing his 32-year-old fertile wife Nitah Phiri, in whom he repeatedly placed his "seed."

When the reformed Musokotwane came home to Germany Township to pick up where he left off with his wife, he was met by a massive expanding tummy, as if she was pregnant triplets.

The scenario instantly strained the marriage since it became evident that Musokotwane could not have been responsible for the baby baking in the wife's tummy.

To save her marriage, Nitah resorted to an unsafe abortion procedure in which she extracted the baby while it was still in development and put it in a sewage pond.

According to neighbors, Nitah wrapped the fetus in chitenge cloth and put it in Germany Township sewage pods at 21:00 hours, as reported by the Zambia Daily Mail.

However, as the saying goes, "nothing is hidden under the sun," and someone witnessed her in the act and reported the incident to authorities.

The whistleblower said that the suspect was married to Musokotwane, who had recently completed his time at Kalomo Correctional Facility.

"When he was released from prison, he discovered that his wife was heavily pregnant for another named David Phiri of Malaa Extension in Livingstone," Daka told the newspaper.

"This caused serious disagreements between the couple, which compelled." The suspect obtained some plants from her friend Masambo of Matondo Village in the Siachitema chiefdom, which she used to abort the pregnancy."

According to reports, following the act, Nitah began bragging about how she had fixed the problem, prompting people of the community to denounce her to authorities.

After being captured, she confessed to police.

On Monday, the police, in coordination with the Kalomo Town Council, collected the fetus and transported it to the Kalomo Urban Clinic for post-mortem examination, which would entail the extraction of samples from the fetus and the suspect for DNA analysis.

Rita remains in police detention as officials look for her acquaintance Masambo, who is suspected of supplying abortion drugs.
