NPP Ashanti Youth Is Energised by NAPO Before 2024

The Ashanti regional youth wing of the NPP has been reminded by Energy Minister Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh of the vital role the youth wing of the party must play in its effort to "break the 8."Speaking at the Mega Ashanti Regional Youth Conference on Saturday, December 16, 2023, at the Prempeh Assembly Hall, Dr. Prempeh stated that the NPP's youth should be proud of the accomplishments of the administration regardless of the challenges provided by sudden worldwide disruptions.

He remarked that since the NDC and John Mahama have nothing fresh to offer the people of Ghana, it is the young of the party's responsibility to spearhead the effort to highlight the shortcomings in John Mahama's promises.

"The NDC prefers to impose mismanagement and adversaries like Dumsor on the populace, whereas the NPP is able to go forward in the face of challenges that are entirely beyond our control and caused by force majeure. In response to complaints from Ghanaians, John Mahama said that he was not a magician.

"Dr. Bawumia has only been Vice President and has not yet been President; John Mahama has been both President and Vice President before," he said. The President is the only person with full executive authority under our constitution. The President is assisted and served by the Vice President. That John Mahama lost his opportunity to serve as president and was voted out is not anyone's fault. Ultimately, he claimed to have "dead goat" syndrome, which basically meant he was indifferent. His record as President will be assessed in light of his broken pledges in comparison to his current promises. He is undoubtedly unable to pass the credibility test.

A lawmaker from Manhyia South claims that the NPP's record is always better than the NDC's. A close examination of the NDC's pre-2020 campaign rhetoric will reveal that they had nothing to say on the economy, which is the greatest evidence of the NPP's stellar record during its first term up until those shocks, he claimed.

"As the heartbeat of the party, we in the Ashanti area must put in a lot of effort and travel the entire region to teach our people that the NDC is never a viable option, no matter what the circumstances. True, there can be valid worries, but that doesn't mean we should ignore them. He said, "We have to keep firmly standing behind the elephant."

This is because they were aware that the economic management record had been impregnable at the time.

"At the end of 2019, inflation, which was selected from 15.4% in 2017, was 7.9%. Why do Ghanaians elect a new government when the previous one had such a stellar record before outside shocks? The cedi was deemed the weakest currency in 2014, a year without any external shocks.
